Last evening after work, I jumped on my KHS and went out on an adventure with my son. We had visited Huaren Seawall several times, but every time we got to rush back home for dinner. This time we wanted to explore more and decided to turn left and go north after arriving the seawall. We rode to Beibin (North Shore) before going home. Sure enough, we did not make it before dinner, but at least we finally achieved riding this section of the bicycle route. That was great.
It did not take long for us at all to visit the Seawall. From home we took De-an Street or other parallel alleys and soon we encountered Qijiaochuan Creek (Ji-an River). After riding along the river towards the sea, you would arrive at Huaren Seawall before long.
This time we chose to go left, which is the Pacific Park. It’s more crowded here comparing to north shore.
We stopped midway to take a selfie, and then continued to ride forward. There was a spot that was so close to the sea. Such a beautiful scenery! When we were near the exit of the bike way, we saw two foreigners riding from the opposite side, one playing music with Bluetooth speaker, and the other wearing headphones. Later, when we rode to Beibin, we saw another foreigner passing by on her road bike. Everyone seems to enjoy cycling. I bet we are all truly grateful to be able to bike along the Pacific Ocean at this moment.
